Is This the 2015 Mach 1 Mustang?

 2015 Mach 1 Mustang

While every day we get a better sense of what the new Ford Mustang will look like, and we know that Ford NA has a trademark filing for the Mach 1 name with the US Patent and Trademark Office, we don’t know how such a ‘stang would appear in real life. Thankfully, the photoshop hooligans over at TopSpeed have done their damnedest to render what the 2015 Mach 1 Mustang could look like. And I do say, she’s a looker. Is it just me, or is there a bit of GT-R in the rear quarter window and C-pillar? Hit the jump to keep reading…

Review: Lamborghini E-350

Posted on 26 October 2011 by Adam Kaslikowski

I’m a pretty smart guy. Handsome too, but that’s besides the point. I’m savvy enough to see a good opportunity when it comes up. So when my buddy Jeff called me up the other day and said that he needed help moving, I told him no. Obviously. But he knows the way to my heart, and he promised me the opportunity to drive something “fun.” Because I’m no fool I immediately inquired what it was, see Jeff has fooled me before and I wasn’t going to fall for his tricks again. “What could I possibly be driving other than a U-Haul?” I asked him. “Fine, It’s a….a….a Lamborghini! Are you gonna help me out now or what?” I decided to ignore his new stuttering problem (I’m enlightened and look beyond such superficial differences) and jumped on the opportunity. “Buy me a box of road-trip Red Vines, and I’m in.” Keep reading to see how Driving Scene’s first Lambo test went.

Ford Going After Onstar

Posted on 20 September 2011 by Adam Kaslikowski

Ford will begin offering their SYNC users the ability to speak with a live operator following a successful beta test of the service earlier this year. Customers will be able to get turn by turn directions as well as business addresses – which apparently account for 70% of SYNC Services calls. New owners will receive 60 complimentary sessions with an operator, those with remaining SYNC Services will get a prorated amount, and the Services pack can be purchased for $60 which includes 20 complimentary operator sessions.

Obviously Ford is taking the fight to GM and their OnStar service. OnStar has been the go-to telematics system since its inception. It will be interesting to see how or if GM will respond with some new services of its own.

Toyota is the New Old GM

Posted on 19 September 2011 by Adam Kaslikowski

There was a time when buying a Japanese car was seen a risky call. They were unproven in the 70’s and 80’s, but cheap enough to lure bargain shoppers. Sounds like Hyundai 5 years ago doesn’t it? It is remarkable how the auto industry players circle themselves and repeat each others’ mistakes. Continue reading to see how current manufacturers compare to the past…
