Utah’s British Field Day 2012

Posted on 16 June 2012 by Adam Kaslikowski

We’ve just returned from Liberty Park where we witnessed all the great vehicles assembled for the annual British Field Day. This gathering always brings out Salt Lake City’s best vintage British vehicles along with a few modern ones as well. The weather couldn’t have been nicer for the event and there was a wide variety of different English transports. Hit the jump to view all the vintage goodness.

Some of our favorite items brought out to the park were a new Aston Martin, classic Norton motorcycles, and a ready to rumble Land Rover Defender. But of course, the most drool-worthy cars in attendance were the clutch of Jaguar E-types. As always, these works of metallic sculpture held our attention for the longest and most enjoyable time.

Beyond the great cars and motorcycles, the most refreshing part of the Field Day is the friendliness of the owners and participants. Everyone is not just happy to talk with you, but excited to discuss their passion for British cars. And excited they should be – not only was there a large crowd of fans and glorious weather, but the organizers also set up an autocross course in the middle of the event for owners to exhibit their track jockeying skills.

Scan through our gallery below to start getting excited for next year.
